VE7AA0  William (Bill) Edward Grant June 29, 2009 It is with great sorrow we wish to announce the passing of Bill in the early morning of June 29, 2009 at Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
Bill was born in 1923 on the Gaspe coast of Quebec but lived most of his life in British Columbia.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Mildred (Mickey) of 54 years as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends.
During World War II, Bill served in the R.C.A.F overseas as a wireless operator. After the war he was with the Government of Canada and served the First Nations people as an agent in Northern B.C. and Yukon. Later, he and Mickey settled in Vernon, B.C. where they developed and operated Okanagan Terrace Mobile Home Park. Bill also spent many years as a Real Estate agent in the Vernon area. May he rest in peace. VE7AAO

HARKER George William (Bill) 1915 - 2009 Bill, aged 94, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2009, at Polson Extended Care in Vernon, BC. He is survived by his wife Ruth, daughter Linda and grandson Don as well as numerous other grandchildren. Bill was employed by the Department of Transport throughout his working career and was a well known ham radio member, VE7LX.
 
VE7PE  Len Hoover January 8, 2009 Len was instrumental in the establishment of a packet radio network throughout the interior as well he was the sysop for the VE7PE packet BBS that ran for many years in Vernon.  He was awarded a Lifetime Membership by NORAC in 1996 for his past dedication to helping found NORAC, and for his many years of service to the club.  He will be sadly missed.

VE7PCP Frank Pearson December 6, 2005 Frank Pearson passed away on December 6th, 2005, aged 88, with his family by his side. Frank was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan in 1917 and was 10 years old when he moved with his family from Penticton to Vernon. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Isobel, sons Terry (Anne) of Victoria, Leigh (Anita) and daughter Dodie (Bob) Lindley of Vernon. He leaves his Grandchildren, Taya, Katie, Michael and Lauren and sister Stella Balcombe.
