NORAC has an immediate opening for a Net Controller for the Sunday morning 10am VE7RSS Silver Star VHF Net.
It would be great if we could find 1-2 new people interested in taking a slot in the rotation, then it's only a commitment of about one Sunday a month (on average).
We (the existing Net Controllers), are very flexible and fill in for each other to accommodate vacations, emergencies, etc.
It's easy, fun, and a great way to get to know a large number of local radio amateur's (and their call-signs). We will provide support, and all the scripts and paperwork required. No previous experience necessary, I started doing it in my first year as a licensed amateur and really appreciate that Blake offered me the opportunity.
It's a simple task that takes less then an hour to complete, and it's a big service to the club.
