The late summer NVIS exercise hosted by the Nanaimo Amateur Radio Association (NARA) Saturday afternoon was conducted with very positive results. Propagation was absolutely amazing with net control coming in at 10 over. They had contacts from Washington State, Alberta and Prince George. Combined with the many contacts from our region, the test was a success!
Many thanks to Colin EEH who helped me setup and to Ritchie RLX who took time from packing up before a camping trip to attend and to make contact. Also thanks to Bud KBK and David SZ who made contact from home. If I missed others, once again, thank you.
The next test will take place in late December where start time will be around 3 pm to test out evening propagation. Details to follow soon.
