Austin VE7QH is in town and was thinking to collect SilverStar mountain for his summit log.
Mike VE7KPZ will tag along and operate as well.
We may start with some VHF FM (listen for us soliciting simplex contacts on local repeaters), maybe some 2m SSB if anyone is keen and then some 20m cw and phone for all the out-of-town chasers.
Plan to be at B-lot for 10 am, grab coffees in the village, ride the gondola (so smart) and on air 11ish.
We would love for you to chase us but if you don’t want to sit in the shack all day, join us on the mountain (being a HT). A gondola pass is cheap and the walk to the summit activation zone isn’t too far from where the gondola drops us off.
