- NORAC commentary by Blake this week was in regards to VE7HW Bert Thorburn. He told the story of how young Bert was using radios and was caught by a Federal Inspector who suggested strongly that this young man go and get his license. Later on Bert and a partner started Wright & Thorburn, a radio business still in operation today. After his passing the callsign of VE7HW was picked up by Bert's son who also took over the family business.
