October 2016 News

October is a BIG month, lots of activity and here is some important things to know.

IRLP is back online. Thanks to Jess and Omega Communication in Kelowna for hosting the node radio and providing access to their Internet connection, this is a temporary location while the VE7EGO repeater site is rebuilt.

Thanks to Terry and Jesse and their Sunday spent at VE7RSS diagnosing problems and getting the link radio used by SIRG and IRLP back online.

Thanks to Terry for taking on the Technical Lead role and everything that entails. He's been to the trailer a few times, up to Silver Star a couple times, and he's been doing research and repairs.

Memberships are due. Please renew as soon as possible before the deadline of the AGM meeting. Pay online or mail in your checks to our post office box.
 
October is the NORAC AGM. Thursday Oct 20th. 7:30pm

- Everyone should mark this date on their Calendar.
- Please attend so we have enough members to have a proper quorum.
- Everyone should consider volunteering to be on the Executive. It's only a one year commitment, and there will be a couple positions opening up that need to be filled.
