- disassembled tower
- preparations made for replacement tower (will require cold chisel to free up the concrete around the bolts at the base before another tower can be erected)
- clean up of cables around the grounds and into the shack was done
- 6 batteries and 2 UPS units were removed for recharge and testing (36V battery bank was measured at 3V)
- prep and measurements were taken to reconnect AC mains
- there appears to be a UHF PA missing from the main radio rack ... there are 2 RF and power cables just left dangling in the rack
- in order to recommission this site we need to:
1) restore AC Mains
2) erect another tower
3) determine what radio's besides the new Digital Repeater will be required for the site.
4) determine the site battery backup requirements
5) determine what antenna's and cabling will be required on the tower
6) fix the coms door and or locks (door frame is not square so the locks are binding)
7) The expectation is that IRLP node 1050 will be moved back to this location ... to do this, we will need:
a) the Internet connection confirmed/tested
b) return all associated equipment required for this NODE from its current location: Computer, UHF Radio, and UHF Antenna.
ETA on any of the above depends on weather and manpower
